What are Carrier Oils?
A carrier oil is a vegetable oil made from the fatty portion of a plant, usually from the seeds, nuts, or kernels. Each carrier oil has different combinations of health benefits and therapeutic properties. They generally contain components like; fat-soluble vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and other nutrients that improve the look and feel of skin and hair by adding moisture, soothing irritation, and reducing the effects of dryness.
The oils penetrate the skin cells and repair any damaged protective layer by restricting water loss. Low fatty acids can lead to excessive dryness of the skin.
What are Essential Oils?
Essential oils come from seeds, stems, leaves, petals, and various other parts of any plant. They are typically extracted from plants via distillation or evaporation. Not only are essential oils famous for their aromatic capabilities, they also contain strong chemical properties that can be beneficial for health and skin. Smelling the aroma of essential oils, like in our beard oils and beard balms, can help manage mood and emotions, and soothe skin irritation.
ARGAN OIL
Commonly referred as “liquid gold”, Argan oil is pressed squeezed out of the nut from the fruit of the Argan tree in Morocco and found in our
beard oils and
beard balms. Full of essential fatty acids, like oleic and linoleic, vitamins and minerals that prevent damage to beard hair and reduces split ends. These fatty acids in Argan oil penetrate beard hair and seal it by building a protective layer. This protective layer reduces hair shrinkage, beardruff, itch and frizz by moisturising the skin beneath.
Another key feature of Argan oil is that it is lightweight, fast absorbing, non-greasy, and suitable for all skin types.
LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
Lavender essential oil contains properties that can generate faster and thicker hair growth. The benefits are more effective if you rub your beard oil or beard balm into the skin beneath your beard. Another great benefits of lavender oil is that is contains antimicrobial properties which basically means it prevents bacterial and fungal growth. Helping keep your beard and skin itch and beardruff free.
JOJOBA OIL
Another great botanical oil we use in our products is Jojoba Oil. It’s lightweight, fast absorbing, non-greasy and suitable for all skin types, particularly those who consider themselves having oily skin. Jojoba oil mimics the consistency of our own sebum. Antiseptic and disinfectant properties in Argan oil help prevent bacteria growth in your beard, making your beard oil a acne fighter.
MANGO BUTTER
Derived from mango kernels contains high amounts of saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids which seal and protect your beard strands from environmental stressors that can damage your hair and beard. Rich in Vitamin A and E, Mango butter helps fortify hair strands by deeply moisturising and regenerating the protective layer of the
beard hair.

CASTOR OIL
